Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.Occupation Congressional Candidate David B. Pollock (born April 28, 1961) is a former American child actor best remembered for his portrayal of Rudi Stein in the movie The Bad News Bears and its sequels in 1977 and 1978.
He attended Montclair High School.

David also appeared on the TV show Juvenile Jury and in twenty commercials.
Adult life
David is a Certified Flight Instructor and Ground Instructor, and worked at the Claire Walters Flight Academy in Santa Monica, California from 1979 to 1981. He then worked as a Strategic Planning Analyst and Flight Scheduler for Flying Tigers in Los Angeles from 1981 to 1988, and from 1988 to 2006 was a Marketing Planning Specialist for Rocketdyne in Canoga Park, CA. He now works full time for the California School Board Association as senior director of program development.
As a father of two school-aged children, David was alarmed by what he read in newspapers about public schools. He became chairman of the school district's Committee for Effective Schools and served for fifteen years on Moorpark's school board. His leadership helped Moorpark earn a national reputation as an academic powerhouse.
When he watched his community struggling to create jobs and keep local businesses open, David ran for the Moorpark City Council and won. On the City Council he has fought to eliminate red tape hampering businesses, promoted smart-growth development, pushed for funding and building of affordable housing and for the Ruben Castro Human Services Center for families in need.
David received a BS in Management from the Pepperdine School of Business and Management in 1986 and an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA in 1992.
