The band toured the UK in late February/early March 2007 culminating in a live session with Clint Boon on radio station
XFM Manchester resulting in the band being contacted by organisers from Canada's North By North East (NXNE ) music festival and asked to perform as part of the British Showcase at that years festival.Armies of You received much attention from both the Canadian national press and North American independent radio stations who championed the bands music due to them being at the festival as the only unsigned/unmanaged band from the UK.
On the night of their performance at
NXNE the band were interviewed by indie film makerBrian Banks and will appear in the rockumentary " [http://www.mytourmovie.com My Tour] " due to be released in late 2008.In late 2007 the band released their self-titled debut which featured on
Bethan Elfyn 's BBC show Introducing...Early 2008 saw the band in the studio completing work on new Armies of You material.
