IsTalking L.L.C. is a Phoenix, Arizona based company that was created in 2006 by Anthony Conti and major league baseball player Luis Gonzalez. Unlike MySpace and Facebook, the company focused on creating a social network service that could cater to specific colleges. [Censky, Annalyn. The first school that Conti and Gonzalez have chosen to test their service on is Arizona State University and is appropriately titled: ASUIsTalking.com. [Johnson, Andrew. Recently, IsTalking partnered with Jobing.com in order to create opportunities for students to search for careers through the IsTalking digital interface. Gonzalez stated: “It’s important that we bring them [students] job opportunities that are relevant and that match up with their interests.
