Centre for Post-Graduate Studies (CPGS) is functioning under Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Orissa, India. It offers two main courses, Master in Computer Application (MCA) ( [http://www.mcacpgs.com/Default.asp] ) and Master of Science in Bio-technology (MSc).

Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) Bhubaneswar, India ( [http://www.ouat.ac.in] ) is a multi faculty technical university with the reputation of being a leader in teaching, research and extension. It has a glorious history adorned with lots of achievements and honours. Centre of Post Graduate Studies has added yet another jewel in its crown. Description

The campus is located near Siripur Square, Bhubaneswar, in front of the OUAT University administrative building. It is situated within a distance of 3 km from the Biju Patnaik Airport, Bhubaneswar and 5 km from the railway station. It has two spacious buildings with an adequate number of classrooms and laboratories for both computer application & bio-tech departments and a library.

History

The college came into existence in 1998 through an initiative of OUAT. The centre, though in its adolescent stage, has won a place for itself in academics and extracurricular events at university and state level.
