John Henry Bremridge

Sir John Henry Bremridge (彭勵治 爵士), KBE, JP, MA [ [http://www.ox.ac.uk/gazette/backissues/9495/090295/coll.txt University of Oxford Gazette] , retrieved 6th May 2006] (1926 - 1994) was Financial Secretary of Hong Kong from 1981 to 1986. He was the first Financial Secretary who was not a civil servant. Before serving as Financial Secretary, he was a senior member of staff in the Swire Group and non-executive director of Schroders plc.
