Owana Kalokuokamaile Wilcox

Owana Kalokuokamaile Wilcox

Princess Owana Kalokuokamaile Wilcox born 1975, was the eldest daughter of Prince Orson Kihapiilani Wilcox of the House of Laanui, a collateral branch of the House of Kamehameha. [ [http://www.4dw.net/royalark/Hawaii/wilcox.htm WILCOX ] ]

She was born October 29th, 1975. Her mother was her father's first wife, Marilyn Marella Mitchell. Her second-cousin Kalokuokamaile III is the current head of the royal house. She has one sister and two brothers; Prince Kaulahea Kaohelalani Wilcox and Prince Kahealani Kuuipo Wilcox, She belongs to the male-line and is a 4th generation descendant of Theresa Laanui still holding the surname of Wilcox. Her name Owana is the same as her first cousin once removed, Princess Owana Salazar as it was a custom to name a child after one of its royal ancestors. Owana was the middle name of High Chiefess Theresa Owana Kaheiheimaile, the mother of Princess Theresa Owana Laanui, both her ancestors.

She married Robert Scott McClay. She currently has issue but her descendant sadly shall not bear the surname of her great-great grandfather the Honourable Robert William Kalanihiapo Wilcox.
