Nikola Gligorov (Macedonian: Никола Глигоров) (born 15 August 1983) is a footballer from the Republic of Macedonia who's playing in Cyprus for Alki Larnaca. He plays as central midfielder but can easily play as a defensive or attacking midfielder.

Club career

Gligorov started his carrier at Vardar Skopje but was loaned right away to FK Alumina, and later to FK Cementarnica 55 Skopje. At 2004/2005 season he was regular at Vardar Skopje and stayed there until 2006. After that he had a spell with FK Bežanija in the Serbian Superliga during the 2006-07 season, but left the Serbian club at the end of the season... He came back to Macedonian championship playing for Rabotnički Skopje and from there he made a transfer to Vardar Skopje just to get back to Rabotnički Skopje the following season where he stayed till the end of the season 2010/2011. In 1st of June 2011 he signed a deal with Ermis Aradippou, a club from Cyprus but after just two months the contract was terminated because of financial troubles at the club after all players were released from there contracts. In 14th of August he decided to sign for another cyptiot club Alki Larnaca. He debuted against Omonia on away fixture, when he came in play at the start of the second half when it was 3-0 for the home team. Eventually the game ended 4-1. His first goal for the club came 6 games later scoring a spectacular goal from long distance, helping his team to win 4-2 in the end.

International career

Gligorov made his debut for Macedonian national team on 11/08/2010 in an away friendly game against Malta that finished 1-1. He is yet to score his debut goal.
