Daisy Emmalani (Emaline) Napulahaokalani Cartwright (born 1879) was related to the royal family of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
Life
Daisy Napulahaokalani Cartwright was born February 21, 1879 in Honolulu.[1] She was the first child of her mother Theresa Owana Kaohelelani Laʻanui of the House of Laanui, a collateral branch of the House of Kamehameha. Her father was Alexander Joy Cartwright III, son of baseball pioneer Alexander Joy Cartwright II. Her younger sister was Eva Kuwailanimamao Cartwright. Cartwright and Theresa Owana Laanui divorced, and he eventually moved to San Francisco and married Susan Florence McDonald. Daisy had two half-sister from her father second marriage, Ruth Joy and Mary Muriel.[2]
Her half-siblings, from her mother's later marriage to Robert William Wilcox, were Robert Kalanikupuapaikalaninui Wilcox, Virginia Kahoa Kaahumanu Kaihikapumahana Wilcox and, Elizabeth Ka'akualaninui Wilcox.[3]
She married first Walter Nelson and after that Mr. Weaver.[1] She had no children from either of her husband. Her sister Eva had three children.
