Elizabeth Ka'akaualaninui Wilcox

Princess Elizabeth Kaokinaakaualaninui Wilcox (January 2, 1898 - November 24, 1898) was the daughter of Princess Theresa Owana Kaohelelani of the House of Laanui, a collateral branch of the House of Kamehameha. She was her mother's last child. [http://www.4dw.net/royalark/Hawaii/wilcox.htm] She was named after her ancestor Kaakaualaninui of Maui.

Her father was the Honorable Robert Kalanihiapo Wilcox, Hawaii's first delegate to Congress. Born in 1898 a few years after the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom, she was born as a citizen of the Republic of Hawaii, prior to Hawaii's Annexation to the United States. She was the younger sister of Prince Robert Kalanikupuapaikalaninui Wilcox and Princess Virginia Kaihikapumahana Wilcox and half sister were Princess Daisy Napulahaokalani Cartwright and Princess Eva Kuwailanimamao Cartwright. She was probably named after her great-aunt Princesss Elizabeth Kekaaniau Laanui.

She died 11 months after her birth, at Honolulu, Hawaii, she died a U.S. citizen.
