April 5 th, 1947) is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, producer and a president ofSonic Past Music .In 1967, he became a member of the soft rock band
The Millennium , They recorded an album "Begin" for CBS/Sony.Later in 1969 he joined the psychedelic rock super group
The Blues Magoos . When the band disbanded, he formed with the keyboard palyer and singer Ralph Scala, also previously in The Blue Magoos, the groupThe Dependables who issued an album in United artist called "Klatu Berrada Niktu". The album was in a country-soul vein. They were helped by others musicians such as Ronnie Gilbert, Randy Naylor, Carl Radle, Chuck Blackwell and Claudia Linnear among others.In 1976, he released a solo album on
Playboy Records that was produced byThe Rolling Stones producerJimmy Miller . The album was reissued by Joey's labelSonic Past Music in 2003.Joey started his own label
