Bob Dempsey

Bob Dempsey is currently a NASA flight director for the International Space Station. [ [http://quest.arc.nasa.gov/people/bios/space/dempsey.html NASA Quest > Space Team Online ] ] He received his Ph.D. degree in physics and astronomy from the University of Toledo.

He is in charge of jettisoning a 1400 pound (635 kg) refrigerator-sized ammonia container from the International Space Station. What is left of the refrigerator after re-entry will hit the earth sometime during the summer of 2008.
