The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) is the governing authority for horse racing in Great Britain. It merged into one body the governing responsibility formerly held by the British Horseracing Board and the regulatory responsibility held by the Horseracing Regulatory Authority (HRA), the regulatory division of the Jockey Club. It came into existence on 31 July 2007.
The BHA's chairman is Paul Roy and the chief executive is Nic Coward.
