Cameron McKenna (born 1969) is a Scottish broadcaster, best known for his work with STV and Real Radio Scotland.
Broadcasting career
He began his career in 1990 as a presenter for Eastend Radio in Glasgow and later became co-host of the Breakfast Show on the now defunct 96.3 QFM, alongside Gary Marshall. [ [http://tvannouncers.thetvroomplus.com/channel-33.html The TV Room Plus profiles on STV announcers] ]
Cameron is currently a freelance continuity announcer for STV in Northern and Central Scotland, working alongside a team headed by senior announcer Maggie Lavender. He also freelances for Real Radio Scotland as a newsreader.
Personal life
Born in the East End of Glasgow and brought up in the Tolcross area of Auchenshuggle, McKenna attended Eastbank Academy in Shettleston.
In 2008, he was re-united with his father after 37 years and now has 3 additional brothers who live in East Kilbride.
McKenna has 3 children from his former partner.
