Richard Ziman is the founding Chairman and CEO of Arden Realty, Inc., the largest owner of commercial office real estate in Southern California.

Early life

Ziman received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California in 1964, and his law degree from the University of Southern California Law School in 1967. He was a partner in the firm Loeb & Loeb from 1971-1978, specializing in all aspects of real estate.

Arden Realty

In 1989, he sold off his portfolio of Southern California real estate just before the market crash. Between 1989 and 1990, he sold 5 million square feet of property in 19 months. [cite news
