Jacob McArthur Mooney (born
August 9 ,1983 ) is aCanadian poet .Mooney was born in the village of
Chester Basin, Nova Scotia and attendedMemorial University of Newfoundland where he graduated in 2006 with a degree inpsychology . It was during this period that he first started writing poems and became an active member of the local literature scene.
