Iralco, Irish Aluminium Company, [ [http://www.iralco.ie/about.asp?id=11 Iralco, Ireland, Irish, Meath, automotive industry, automotive components, steel, steel bending, patent process ] ] situated in Collinstown, North Westmeath, the company is one of the longest-established manufacturers in Ireland and was initially established in 1964. It produces components from some of Europe's best-known car manufacturers, including Audi, BMW, Ford, Seat, Volvo and Jaguar. Currently it employs some 420 employees, and at one stage it employed 900 people.
