"Tony Paskins" (Australia) was a
rugby league footballer who played in theNew South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and English Rugby League (ERL ) competition as well as playing rugby union for the Randwick club inSydney .Paskin was recruited from
Sydney ’s Randwick Rugby union club by English rugby league clubWorkington Town where he won aChallenge Cup , defeating Featherston Rovers in the final. He was a representative of ‘Other Nationalities’ against English national sides.A
goal kickingcentre , Paskin returned to Australia, along with fellowAussie and Workington Town team mateRupert Mudge in 1955. Paskin was named captain of Eastern Suburbs side, playing 54 matches for the club in the years (1955-58). After leaving Easts he enjoyed success with the local Oberon side in rural New South Wales. In 1961 he was named as the captain of the NSW country representative team and the following year captain the NSW representative side Against the touringGreat Britain Lions . Paskin returned to theNSWRL in 1963 where he spent a season as joint captain and coach of theManly Sea Eagles club.Paskin coached the Eastern Suburbs club in the 1973 season.
