Hoveizeh

Hoveizeh (also Huzgan) is a city in the Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran near the border with Iraq. The Hoveizeh region is rich in oil and is an agricultural area. The city sustained heavy casualties and ubiquitous damage during the Iran-Iraq war.
