Somnology

Somnology is the clinical study and treatment of sleep disorders and irregularities. Somnologists treat and diagnose various disorders, such as apnea, insomnia, and sleepwalking.

Somnologists use a "sleep study", or polysomnogram, as one of several key diagnostic tools.
