Eduard Nalbandyan

Eduard Nalbandyan (born 1956) is an Armenian diplomat. He has been Minister of Foreign Affairs since April 2008. [http://armenianow.com/?action=viewArticle&AID=2972&CID=2904&IID=1182&lng=eng "New President Appoints Two Key Ministers"] , ArmeniaNow.com, April 15, 2008.]

Nalbandyan was posted in Egypt from 1992 to 1998, first as "charge d'affaires" and then as Ambassador. He was then appointed as Ambassador to France in 1999; while holding this post, he concurrently served as Ambassador to Vatican City, Israel, and Andorra.

After Serzh Sargsyan took office as President, he appointed Nalbandyan as Foreign Minister on April 14 2008.
