Flywho

flywho was a proposed airline based in Solihull, Birmingham, England. It planned to begin transatlantic services in 2005 using a fleet of Boeing 767 aircraft.Fact|date=June 2007

The airline never got off the ground and flywho's website was taken down in January 2007.

History

flywho was established in 2004 and launched as FlyBlu planning to fly from Birmingham to Orlando/Sanford and St. Petersburg/Clearwater in Florida using Airbus A310 aircraft. flywho was an operating name for BluArrow Aviation, who were unable to use the original operating name of FlyBlu after complaints about the similarity of the name with the United States airline JetBlue.

flywho was unable to start flights to Florida as expected in June 2005, due in part to the JetBlue dispute, and in part to the failure of a partnership with a travel agency to have tickets on sale in time for the predicted launch date. The company tried to establish new partnerships which had been planned to start in October 2006 instead, with twice weekly flights to Orlando/Sanford and weekly flights to St. Petersburg/Clearwater, although it never operated a revenue earning flight.
