Richard Anstiss

Richard Anstiss, born 29 April1973, is an English footballer who plays goalkeeper for Leamington F.C.

Anstiss is an experienced goalkeeper in non-league football, having played for Bromsgrove Rovers F.C., Racing Club Warwick, Redditch United, Studley FC, Evesham United and Rugby Town F.C. When Rod Brown was appointed as manager of Rugby Town, Anstiss was one of his first signings after working togethher for many years at Redditch United. His strengths include his shot stopping and his kicking but the highlight of his career at Rugby was his penalty save in the final minutes of their 3-2 win over Banbury United. Anstiss, who signed for Leamington in August 2008 played in the UEFA Cup for Aberystwyth Town F.C.
