Carnival of the Animals (ballet)

"Carnival of the Animals" is a ballet made by Christopher Wheeldon on New York City Ballet to Saint-Saëns' eponymous music. The narration was written by John Lithgow, who also performed in the premiere, which took place on May 14, 2003, at the New York State Theater, Lincoln Center.
