Kenyan Conjurations

Kenyan Conjurations is a film made by English magicians Drummond Money-Coutts and Tom Lyon. It is a charity project raising money to build a school in Africa. Background

Money-Coutts and Lyon met at Eton College in the 1990s. While still at school they became professional magicians performing for HM The Queen, Michael Parkinson and Stephen Fry among others. In August 2007, while both students at university in England, the pair travelled to Kenya and spent a month performing their magic in the streets. They travelled from Nairobi to Lamu via Mombasa, Kilifi, Malindi and Gede. The film documents their travels and will be dedicated to Bill Deedes, Money-Coutt's grandfather, who died while the DVD was being filmed. All proceeds from sales will fund the building of a new school in one of the towns they visited.
