Abadan Crisis timeline

The Abadan crisis was a notable event that began with the nationalization of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company by the government of Iran in 1951 and ended with a the coup against Iranian prime minister Mohammed Mossadeq in 1953. Abadan was the site of the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company's Abadan oil refinery, which was shut down during the crisis.
