Roy Smiles

Author of eighteen staged plays, he has gained acclaim in America, Australia, Israel, New Zealand and South Africa but has largely been overlooked in his home country. Two acclaimed radio plays: YING TONG and GOOD EVENING. Appeared as an actor in Operation Good Guys, The Bill, Frank Stubbs Promotes and Roman Polanski's Oscar winning The Pianist (as Itzak Heller).
