Lorna Bennett

Lorna Bennett (born 25 June1977) is a British actress.

She received an Anthony Hopkins Scholarship to train at LAMDA and has appeared in BAFTA nominated "Stuart A Life Backwards" (BBC/HBO), sitcom "Cry Wolf" (BBC1), "Doctors" (BBC1), Comedy Lab's "Roy Dance is Dead" (C4), and "Pirates" in which she played Anne Bonny.

In 2008 she worked on feature film "There Are Dark Forces" directed by Keith Allen & Roger Pomphrey, based on Princess Diana's Inquest. Other films include "Mother Time", "The Convert" and "An Eye For A Tooth". Theatre work includes productions at Chichester Festival Theatre, Hampstead Theatre and The Royal Court Theatre.

Lorna wrote the plays "Hairy Fairies" (FiCK Productions at the Brighton Festival/Jermyn St Theatre) & "And Your Point Is..?" (The Site@The Royal Court), co-directed Makbed, with Nikki Amuka Bird, (for Ken Campbell Productions, various theatres) & directed "Beyond Therapy" (Pleasance Theatre). She also asst directed Karl Howman on Roy Smiles play "The Ho-Ho Club" (King's Head Theatre) starring Sally Lindsay, and "There" (Jermyn Theatre Downstairs, Royal Court Theatre) . She produced the short film "Love Nest" starring Zoe Telford, Paul Thornley, Matthew Chambers and Sean Brosnan.

Lorna's brother is the actor Jack Bennett.
