- Bembridge Windmill
Bembridge Windmill is a National Trust property located in
Bembridge on theIsle of Wight . It was built circa 1700 of stone with a wooden cap and is the last remainingwindmill on the Island. It has been painted by many artists including Turner who sketched it in 1795.The windmill was last used as a flour mill in 1897. Between 1897 and 1915 it was used to grind cattle feed. It was given to the National Trust in 1962 and still has its original
