DinDisc was a short-lived subsidiary label of Virgin Records during the beginning of the 1980s. It's no longer officially active, but CD reissues still mention the label and have DinDisc catalog numbers.

The label was founded and run by Carol Wilson, who previously discovered Sting and signed him to Virgin's music publishing company, together with the Buzzcocks, The Human League, J. J. Cale and Tom Petty. Carol is now an author and consultant on business management, leadership and coaching at http://www.performancecoachtraining.com.

The label was famous for its innovative sleeves designed by Peter Saville (now at http://www.savilleparriswakefield.com), recently honoured with a retrospective at the Design Museum in London.
