Aurostibite was discovered in1952 and can be found inhydrothermal gold -quartz veins, insulfur -deficient environments that contain otherantimony minerals. The mineral can be found in Yellowknife in theNorthwest Territories ofCanada , and theTimiskaming District inOntario , Canada.
