They have played with and opened for such bands asNew Found Glory ,NOFX ,Ellegarden ,Allister ,Mad Caddies ,Slick Shoes andAuthority Zero . They have touredJapan three times to date as well as playing countless shows in theUnited States . They are on the labelWorld Records in theUnited States ,InYa Face Records inJapan , and Enemy One Records inBrazil .History
Formed in 2004, Better Luck Next Time has released two full-length albums, and made numerous compilation appearances. Their debut album "
Third Time's A Charm " was engineered, recorded, and produced entirely by themselves in late 2005. It quickly caught the attention ofInYa Face Records inTokyo ,Japan , who signed the band and released a self titled album in May 2006, which included the same tracks as their debut. A year later, the band headed overseas to headline "@United Vol. 2" in Shibuya,Japan at Club Quattro.In September 2006, the band was chosen as one of the top 10 unsigned bands in California out of 2,500 by radio station
KROQ inLos Angeles . In the mid 2007, the band was invited back toJapan to play one of the biggest events of the year, Punkspring 2007. They shared the stage withNOFX ,New Found Glory ,Jimmy Eat World ,Allister , andEllegarden .Just months later, the follow-up to their debut, "
Start From Skratch ", was released inJapan on August 25. A co-headlining tour withMad Caddies was put together in support of the record covering such areas ofJapan asTokyo ,Osaka , andNagoya . As with their first album, it was recorded and produced entirely by the band, and later taken toScottsdale, Arizona where it was mixed byRyan Greene at Crush Recording.The band is now signed to World Records out of
Los Angeles, California , who released their latest album in theUnited States called "Start From Skratch ". A split album with the Italian bandMelody Fall called "Hybrid" has recently been released inJapan onInYa Face Records .Members
