Horseman's Green is a village in the County Borough of Wrexham,
Wales . Most notable for its proximity toHanmer (the birthplace ofLorna Sage and the setting for the autobiography "Bad Blood"). The village was also an evacuation area in the Second World War. Neighbouring townPenley is well known for its Polish residence and its hospital which still housed Polish war evacuees until very recent years but Horseman's Green used less commonly and most notably by those looking to avoidNazi German Luftwaffe bombing raids from theCrosby area ofLiverpool .Location
