Jernej of Loka

Jernej of Loka (Bartholomew) was a 16th century painter active in the Škofja Loka area where he also gets his name from. He is known to have painted the frescos in a number of other churches, throughout the Upper Carniola region and some in the area of Tolmin of what is now Slovenia and in the the Natisone valley in what is now Italy .
