Mark De Clive-Lowe

Mark De Clive-Lowe is a musician and producer originally from New Zealand, and now based in West London. He has been one of the key musicians in the Broken Beat and Nu Jazz movements, blending jazz, ethnic music and urban grooves into a 21st Century sound. He has been involved with over 150 releases collaborating with as diverse a range of artists as Lauryn Hill, Jody Watley, UK soul don Omar, percussionist Sammy Figueroa (Miles Davis), bass player Pino Palladino (D'Angelo/The Who).

For over the past ten years, Mark De Clive-Lowe has been touring in the US, UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Cuba.

After two world tours Mark has taken his "Six Degrees live show" global including at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Amsterdam Drum Rhythm Festival, London Jazz Festivaland throughout Europe, Asia and Australasia.

His debut album Six Degrees was released worldwide in 2000. Mark released Tide's Arising March 22, 2005 on ABB Soul/Antipodean. The album features a who's who of guest artists including Bembé Segué, Abdul Shyllon, Pino Palladino [D'Angelo's Soultronics/The Who] , Capitol A [The Roots/Jazzanova] .
