Kilroot power station

Kilroot power station is a power station in Kilroot near Carrickfergus in Northern Ireland.

The station generates 520MW of electricity from a dual coal/oil fired plant. The plant is owned by the AES Corporation and is the only coal fired plant left in Northern Ireland. [ [http://www.aes.com/kilroot/index?page=ourbiz AES Kilroot | Our Business ] ]

History
