The Military Anthem of the Chinese PLA (zh-s|中国人民解放军军歌, zh-t|中國人民解放軍軍歌, zh-p|"Zhōng Guó Rén Mín Jiě Fàng Jūn Jūn Gē") is a patriotic song of the People's Republic of China, former name is "March of the Eighth Route Army" (zh-s|八路军进行曲, zh-t|八路軍進行曲, zh-p|"Bā Lù Jūn Jìn Xíng Qǔ"), which is one of the six songs in Chorus of Eighth Route Army (zh-s|八路军大合唱, zh-t|八路軍大合唱, zh-p|"Bā Lù Jūn Dà Hé Chàng"), all songs are written by Gong Mu, music composed by Zheng Lvcheng.
This song also named with "March of the PLA" (zh-s|解放军进行曲, zh-t|解放軍進行曲, zh-p|"Jiě Fàng Jūn Jìn Xíng Qǔ") in the second Chinese Civil War, the lyris is edited by General Political Department of PLA in 1951, the name is change to "March of the Chinese PLA" (zh-s|中国人民解放军进行曲, zh-t|中國人民解放軍進行曲, zh-p|"Zhōng Guó Rén Mín Jiě Fàng Jìn Xíng Qǔ") in 1965.
In Jul 25,1988, Central Militray Commision of China decide use this song as the militray anthem of the PLA.
