Wang Wei is a National Third Class actor. He joined the Guangdong Provincial Theatre as lead actor upon graduating the Drama Class of Guangdong Academy for Cantonese Opera in 1995 and played in several theatre productions as well as drama series. He was employed as bilingual (Putonghua and Cantonese) actor during internship in 1998.

Wang’s Leading roles in the productions of "De Ling and Empress Dowager Ci Xi, The Naked Eyes, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, We Are One Family, Valley of Gold, www.com, Haunted Haunted Little Star, Sweet & Sour Hong Kong, Cabaret , Whose Life Is It Anyway?, Peter Pan, Calling," 2008 HK Arts Festival Programme - "Family Protection Unit" etc

Wang was nominated the Best Supporting Actor (Tragedy / Drama) at the 13th HK Drama Awards in 2004 for his work of Xian Wei in "Haunted Haunted Little Star" and he was nominated the Best Supporting Actor (Tragedy / Drama) at 14th HK Drama Awards in 2005 for "Rotate 270"°.

Wang often participates in film and television dubbing, recently production is "Confession of Pain" (Voice Acting: Tong Leung).
