House of Kamehameha and granddaughter KingKamehameha the Great .She was born circa 1805 at
Lahaina ,Maui . She was the daughter of Prince Kahoanoku Kinau of Hawaii and Princess Kahakuha'akoi Wahini-pio of Maui, Her mother was sister ofBoki andKalanimoku and granddaughter of KingKekaulike of Maui. Her father was son of KingKamehameha the Great and Queen Peleuli-i-Kekela-o-kalani, daughter ofKamanawa one of the royal twins. She married her uncle Liholiho who ruled as KingKamehameha II . She was one of his five wives. There wereQueen Victoria Kamamalu ,Queen Kalani Pauahi ,Queen Elizabeth Kinau , andQueen Miriam Auhea Kekauluohi . She was the youngest but Kamamalu was Liholiho's favorite. She was among the first members along with the King,Hoapiliwahine , Paki,Konia ,Keohokalole ,Kuakini , Kahekili,Leleiohoku I ,Kekuanaoa , Kealiiahonua, Kanaina,Keoni Ii ,Keoni Ana , and Haalio. Kealiiahonui , a Hawaiian noble, former prince of Kauai being the son ofKing Kaumualii and former husband ofKaahumanu . She had no issus with him. She later remarries to Levi Haalelea, a relative ofQueen Kalama consort ofKamehameha III and had a son Alii William Pitt Kinau who died young. [Pratt, Elizabeth K. (March 27, 2000). Stephen Reynolds in his Journal noted at her death that she was "the last of the old stock of chiefs – one of the best of them – good natured, benevolent, liberal and generous."
