Ayad Alkadhi

Ayad Alkadhi, (born 1971), is an Iraqi born artist. Ayad Alkadhi's work centers on Arabic calligraphy in stylized forms. Calligraphy in the form of caligrams often take shape to support the narrative within his work, expressing the intersection of Near Easter and Western culture, politics and religion. His work has been exhibited in the Middle East, New Zealand, UK and in the U.S.
