Hanoar Hatzioni

Hanoar Hatzioni (Hebrew: "The Zionist Youth" or "The Youth of (the) Zionism") is a youth movement established in 1926 and based in Israel. Its two main pillars are Judaism and Zionism. The movement sees Judaism as the source of national, social and moral values that preserve the integrity and continuity of the Jewish people. It believes that the Jewish identity is closely related with the conscience of having common historic continuity, feelings, language, territory and traditions.

In Britain today the Mazkira of the movement is Jo Miller, the Rosh Chinuch is Robby Hoffman, and the Northern Fieldworker is Oliver Marcus, and Hannah Kleinfeld works in the office as administrator.

The main objective of the Hanoar Hatzioni is "Hagshama Atzmit" (personal fulfillment), which among other things means to have a full Jewish life in Israel. For its purposes the movement uses the Scout method.
