The Lewis H. Latimer House, sometimes called the Latimer House or the Lewis Latimer House, was the home of American
inventor Lewis Latimer from 1903 - 1928 and is now operated as a museum to the inventor's work. The house is owned by theNew York City Parks Department , operated by the Lewis H. Latimer Fund, Inc and a member of theHistoric House Trust . It is located at 34-41 137th Street inFlushing, New York .The House was originally located on Holly Avenue in Flushing,
