- Pratts Peak
Pratts Peak (coord|80|24|S|29|21|W|) is a rock peak 6 nautical miles (11 km) east of
Mount Provender in the west part ofShackleton Range . First mapped in 1957 by the CTAE; photographed in 1967 byU.S. Navy (trimetrogon aerial photography). Named byUnited Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC) forDavid L. Pratt , engineer, andJohn G. D. Pratt , geophysicist, with the transpolar party of theCommonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition in 1956-58.
