"Bangin' on Wax" is the first album by gangsta rap project, Bloods & Crips. The album was released on March 9, 1993 for Warlock Records and was produced by Ron "Ronnie Ron" Phillips. Bangin' on Wax was a success, making it to #86 on the Billboard 200 and being certified Gold by the RIAAFact|date=August 2008. Four singles were released "Bangin' on Wax", "Piru Love", "Crip, Crip, Crip" and Steady Dippin'".

"Steady Dippin'" was released as a single in 1993. Bloods & Crips stands with Damu Ridas (Bloods) and Nationwide Rip Ridaz (Crips) (both group), but this song has appearance only by Crips.

There is a music video for this song. The video shows various lowriders driven by Bloods & Crips, and other gangs. It was directed at Los Angeles. Music video uses remix version of this song, which got typical G-Funk synthesizer sound.
