Super-Jupiter and clear jovialexoplanet located approximately 396light-year s away in theconstellation ofCanis Major , orbiting thestar HD 47536 . Themass andsemimajor axis are not exactly known, the mass can either be 4.96 or 9.67 MJ and semimajor axis can either be 1.61 or 2.25 AU, both depending on the mass of parent star. Theorbital period aboutHD 47536 is 430day s or 1.18year s.Its inclination and thereby true mass is being calculated via astrometry with Hubble. The astrometricians expect publication by mid 2009.
