Wannagan Creek site where it was discovered) is anextinct genus of small alligatorid from thePaleocene ofNorth Dakota . It was named in 1982 by Bruce R. Erickson, and thetype species is "W. brachymanus". It is known from partial remains found at the Wannagan Creek by a crew from theScience Museum of Minnesota .
