Hari-namamrta-vyakarana

Hari-namamrta-vyakarana - fundamental Gaudia Vaishnava grammar by Jiva Goswami."IAST|Hari-nāmāmṛta-vyākaraṇam" (literally, "The Grammar of the Nectar of the Names of Hari") of Jiva is a unique Sanskrit grammar in which all the technical terms in the sutras are names of Krishna or his associates. For example the meter of the first pāda - quarter of maha mantra, is like this: "IAST|ha re kṛ ṣṇa ha re kṛ ṣṇa"
- S - S - | - | - S - S - S -> the last syllable in a pāda may be optionally guru as in the case of the last syllable IAST|ṣṇa the syllable re is guru and IAST|kṛ is also guru because it is followed by a double consonant IAST|ṣṇa IAST|kṛ ṣṇa kṛ ṣṇa ha re ha re S -| - S - | - | - S- | -S hare rāma hare rāma rāma rāma hare hare "All meters of" 4 syllables are called IAST|pratiṣthā 5 syllables are called IAST|supratiṣthā 6 syllables are called IAST|gāyatrī 7 syllables are called IAST|uṣṇik 8 syllables are called IAST|anuṣṭup etc.
