The Karliova Triple Junction is a geologic
triple junction of threetectonic plates: theAnatolian Plate , theEurasian Plate and theArabian Plate . It is an F-F-F type junction (F = "fault") where the east-west trendingNorth Anatolian Fault intersects theEast Anatolian Fault coming up from the southwest.References
