On 21 February 2011, the A. P. Moller-Maersk Group (Maersk) ordered 10 large container ships from Daewoo, each with a capacity of 18,000 containers, surpassing the current record holder; the Mærsk E-class at 15,200 containers.[2] The first is to be delivered in 2014. There is an option of 20 more.[3][4] The new class is called the Triple E class.
On October 10, 2011 the company said that it aimed to seal a $1.1 billion agreement with the Indonesian government by November 2011 to build 3 submarines. It would mark the first exports of submarines from the country.[5]
