List of Parliamentary constituencies in County Durham
- List of Parliamentary constituencies in County Durham
The county of Durham, together with the now separate unitary authority of Darlington,is divided into 7 Parliamentary constituencies- 1 Borough constituency in Darlingtonand 6 County constituencies.
Current proposals by the Boundary Commission for England would retain these 7 constituencies, with changes to realign constituency boundarieswith the boundaries of current local government wards, and to reduce the electoral disparity between constituencies.Apart from the border between Easington and Sedgefield, the changes are hardly noticeable. These changes are expected to be implemented at the United Kingdom general election, 2009/10.
