Transatel is a pan European company which positioned itself, with success, on the MVNO market in Europe. Its headquarters is located in Paris, France, and it has offices in United Kingdom, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. The company is directed by Jacques Bonifay.

Activities

Transatel has 2 activities:

* A mobile phone service provider dedicated to crossborders and frequent travellers (MVNO) or non-european mobile phone companies specialized in the rental of mobile phones
* An activity for companies which want to launch a mobile service under their own brand (MVNE)

1st activity

Transatel, Transatel, Multi-Country Operator dedicated to Crossborders and Frequent Travellers (MVNO) " [http://www.transatel-mobile.com www.transatel-mobile.com] "

In order to avoid roaming, Transatel invented a solution: the multi-country mobile phone offer, allowing users to cut substantially their mobile phone expenses.

This innovation has been possible thanks to a new SIM card technology and thanks to agreements with operators from each country of Transatel zone: France, Belgium, Luxemburg and The Netherlands.

An exclusive technology:
* 1 single SIM card
* 1 GSM
* 1 voice mail
* 1 phone number per country

Operators agreements:

Transatel has agreements with « host » operators and uses their network facilities:
* Bouygues Telecom in France
* Base in Belgium
* Tango in Luxembourg
* Telfort in the Netherlands

Transatel’s offer allows users to call in the subscribed countries at local rates, avoiding the roaming charges. Transatel will extend its offer to Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

2nd activity

Transatel MVNO-Enabler (MVNE) " [http://www.transatel-solutions.com www.transatel-solutions.com] "

Transatel as a MVNE offers to established brands and businesses a turnkey solution and to become MVNO.Also as a MVNE, its offers to GSM operators an infrastructure and services helping them hosting MVNO and/or launching new co-branded mobile offers.

The MVNO’s candidates are:
* Fixed telecom operators, Switchless Fixed Resellers, ISP Media Companies
* Retail Chains / Distributors
* Professional Sports Clubs
* Financial Institutions
* Niche Players targeting communities
* GSM renting companies
* Vertical market, M2M (Machine to Machine) players (automotive, telemetry, maintenance)

Transatel has extensive experience in “interfacing” and “interconnecting” technical platforms. Already 5 Mobile operators have trusted Transatel to interface / interconnect their network with Transatel.It has already linked its own MVNE technical platform to 7 European operators:

* Bouygues Telecom (France)
* Orange France (France)
* Orange UK (UK)
* Base (Belgium)
* Mobistar (Orange) (Belgium)
* Telfort (the Netherlands)
* Tango (Luxembourg)

Transatel will be interconnected with 3 more European operators between now and 2009.

As a MVNE, Transatel has 2 business models : MVNE ASP (Application Service Provider) which supply technical services to MVNOs et MNOs, and MVNA (Mobile Virtual Network Agregator) which permit to negotiate the selling of minutes.
